Call for Entries | 22nd International Film Festival SCHLINGEL
Directors, producers and distributors from all over the world are cordially invited to sign up for the 22nd International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL. 10 experts, children’s and youth juries award prizes with a total value of 63,000 Euros.
Only children and youth feature, short and animated films completed after 1 January 2016 can apply for the competitions. For screening purpose, a viewing copy (DVD, DCP, Blu-Ray) of the film or an online submission (eg via Wetransfer.com or link) with German or English subtitles is necessary.
The International Film Festival SCHLINGEL takes place from 25 September to 1 October 2017 in Chemnitz/Germany and conceives itself as a platform for brand new international children’s and youth films in Germany. Submission is open till 1 July 2017.

The Overcome Film Festival will publish the name of the winners online and certificates will be awarded. As the festival is about providing a voice to survivors, financial awards and prizes will be foregone in lieu of certificates.
Winners will be notified via email. The Overcome Film Festival cannot accept the following works: -Anything that you are not the author and copyright holder of the work you submit. -Offensive, illegal, discriminatory, or harmful works. -Anything that discloses the personal information and likeness of any individual that you do not have written permission to do so. -Anything that you are not comfortable allowing us to show in public. -Submission means you read and agree to the complete rules and terms of the festival on the festival's website. -The Overcome Film Festival will not pay screening fees and it is assumed that any submitted film is both available to be screened, with no legal restrictions, and without expectation of a fee being paid. -Please be aware that if your film is selected to run in the festival, you will be requested to subtitle and narrate your film as the focus of the festival is to include everyone.
