othman Naciri's Biography

Born in Morocco in 1981 in a family of activists, Othman Naciri, from his early years of school, showed a great interest in art, poetry and music. A sensitive child, Othman Naciri is an insatiable observer of the world around him. Fascinated by the richness and the paradoxes of the world around him, he quickly turns to the cinema. Graduated from the “ Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovielle ” of Paris in 2004, he writes and produces numerous documentaries and short films before realizing his first feature film in 2013 "Men never return". His short film "Sin Palabras" is selected in more than 50 international festivals. Engaged on themes such as racism, religious tolerance and the place of women in the Arab World, Othman Naciri regularly collaborates on various juries of festivals, chronicles, tribunes and conferences in Morocco and in the world. He is currently developing his second feature film "IMILCHIL». .
