Mohammad (1981, London) got his Physics BSc at Imperial College before switching to filmmaking. He studied acting at the Actors Temple and then worked in a rental house at Pinewood Studios. From there he worked as a Second AC on low budget features and shorts, before shooting and editing his own promos. In January 2011 he moved to Cairo to write an Egyptian gangster movie. He watched the “Arab Spring” unfold, and after he finished his screenplay he stayed to make documentaries, telling human stories about class struggle. Now he’s returning to narrative filmmaking with several shorts and features in development..
