Born in 1989 in Kosovo. Refugee in Switzerland until 2005. Swiss citizenship. During his stays in Japan (2012), Indonesia (2013) Argentina and Bolivia (2014), he wrote and shot several films. In 2014 he shot a film in collaboration with Béla Tarr in Sarajevo. In 2016, he finishes Lost Exile, who premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and where it was awarded a prize. In 2017, he directed a film in Iran that premiered at the Winterthur Kurzfilmtage. He is set to release his first long-feature documentary in early 2018. His next fiction film is in the process of writing and is expected to be shot in Spring 2018.
