CARLOTTA NAPOLITANO's Biography

Carlotta Napolitano (Naples, 1987). She studied Anthropology in La Sapienza University of Rome. At the same time took Film Direction and Digital Edition class, focusing on Photography. In 2012 finished a visual-narrative project called Poesie d’amore o della pietra (Poetry of love or of stone) about different ethnic groups in Mali, which ended with an artistic installation and a book. She worked in “Migrants memories archive” in Rome, in the audiovisual team. .

Filmography:
In 2015 she studied a Master’s degree in Creative Documentary in Autonomous University of Barcelona, where she makes the collective film Cabeza de Orquídea (Orchid Head). In 2018 she makes the shortfilm Bajo el agua (Sala Art Jove 2018). In 2019 she directs Anábasis shortfilm and carries out the documentary shortfilm Háblame del mar (Talk me about the sea). Currently, she is working as a producer and editor in the audiovisual company Dieciseisbis, making advertising, fiction and documentary pieces.
