After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo and joining a summer workshop at UCLA, Sandro moved to Paris to complete his Masters of Fine Arts in Directing Film at EICAR film school. Since returning to Egypt, he has worked as an Assistant Director on titles including “Diamond Dust”, directed by Marwan Hamed, and “Resistance”, a co-production between the UK and UAE directed by Maurice Sweeney. He was the Editor of “About Separation”, a short by Kawthar Younis as well as "MAMA" by Naji Ismail and finally Producer on "My Girlfriend" by Kawthar Younis..
