Nuanda Sheridan is the artistic pseudonym of Simona De Simone. Born in Nardò (Lecce) on 5th December 1985, she attended the DAMS in Lecce before devoting herself to artistic research. After studying theatrical acting and directing in Lecce and Rome, Nuanda joined the International Theatre Academy of the Adriatic (ITACA). Subsequently moving to Paris, Nuanda frequented artistic circles and attended lectures at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Théatre. Nuanda returned to Italy for the writing and production of "La Pescatrice di Scarpe", an experimental theatre project for which she collaborated with the surrealist photographer Daniele Cascone. Transferring to Florence to study film directing at the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema Indipendente, Nuanda began to work on film sets as a director's assistant, directed the short film "Satyagraha" and her first feature film "Forse è solo mal di mare". She is currently involved in writing her next feature film "According to Isaiah". .
