Nadira Murray's Biography

Nadira Murray - UK based Producer with a creative and analytical mind who graduated from Media Business School, Spain in 2014. Nadira established her own company Sylph Productions Ltd registered in UK with the aim of telling fact-based stories intended to promote social change and awareness and inspire audiences through cinematic entertainment. Nadira came from Uzbekistan in 2004, from a theatre acting background family, and since then she has been living in Scotland. .

Filmography:
"Locked In" - an award-winning short film about asylum seekers in a UK detention centre, currently is showing at festivals.

"Locked In" will be screened at the Aesthetica Short Film FestivalShort Film Festival, 2018 [BAFTA recognised] ; was screened in competition at LA Short Film Festival, 2017 [OSCAR recognised]; and won the Grand Jury Award for Best Short Film at the London Independent Film Awards,2017; and the Best International Short Film award at the Rajasthan International Film Festival,2018, and other few festivals around the world.

Nadira finished producing and directing her experimental short film "STuK", which is currently in post-production.
