Hope Mokded was born in 1988 in Gabès, Tunisia, she studied at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tunis in engraving specialty and she continued her research at the University of Strasbourg, Hope Mokded focused her thoughts on the problematic of invisible violence, which could be defined as accepted societal violence, and how, as an artist and woman, to trace this violence in order to make it intelligible.
