Marcelo Monteiro Costa's Biography

Marcelo Costa is a screenwriter and director of films. He concluded a doctoral student in media and asthetics at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, in Recife, Brazil, where he lectured film editing, cinematography, direction and staging for film. Actually hes is lecturing screenplay and images theories at Universidade Federal da Bahia. Author of the book "O espiral e o quadrado, a arte e a ética do tempo perdido" (2013), he is also a film critic. As a journalist, he covered the Venice Film Festival in 2009 and 2010..
