EUREKA University Film Festival looks for the new talents emerging since the academic formation of filmmakers. Our 2017 version will once again underline the discovery of new talents, new forms. We see the world's young cinema as a creator of cracks to question our realities.. .

Awards

    If you made your film as director, producer and / or screenwriter after January 1, 2016 you can participate in the festival's call. It is mandatory that during the period you made the film you were a student of an undergraduate or graduate program of any branch of the audiovisual field in a formal institution anywhere in the world.

    The competitions can be entered with films of fiction, documentary and films of animation with length less than 50 minutes. The recommended codec is h264.

    The categories to which you can apply are:

    Official Competition
    Official Documentary Competition
    Official Colombian Competition

    Colombian films can be selected to be part of any of the three competitions, the programming area will decide how to distribute them.

    There is no gender or content restriction. We want movies of all kinds! It is important that none be longer than 50 minutes (including credits).

    It is mandatory that if your film is not spoken in Spanish, send us the subtitles in English or, preferably, in Spanish.

    As a director, screenwriter or producer, you can enter as many movies as you want.

    At the time of sending the short film it is important that you send us the ID or document that certifies that you are or were a student. Or, in any case, a document issued by your university that certifies that when you did the project you were registered as an active student. Send it to the e-mail of the festival: eurekafestcine@gmail.com and in the subject you must write the full name of the short film.

    AWARDS

    Each category will be awarded with the Best Short Film and Best Director.
    The winners of our second edition will take the official statuette of the festival, and diverse prizes granted by our sponsors and collaborators.
