ETHNOVIDEOGRAPHIC 2017 – INTERNATIONAL ETHNOGRAPHIC FESTIVAL is born as a
festival dedicated to the multiple expressions of ethnographic documentary, from a wide range
of ethical and social commitments with the great diversity of cultural backgrounds throughout
the world. The Festival intends to reflect the human, cultural and social diversity of our planet.
We strongly conceive ethnographic documentary, under a wide and interdisciplinary sense, as
every audiovisual production, which main purpose is to show different cultural, social, political,
historical, aesthetic and economical realities existing in our world, which we all share.
The Festival will be held at THE ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF CASTILLA Y LEON
(MECYL), from 12th to 17th December 2017 in its first edition. Furthermore, an official selection
from the works submitted to the Festival, will be projected at any cultural space of each of the
nine provinces which form the region of Castilla y León.. .
